The Info

This is a two-year paid North American Division communication internship at the North Pacific Union Conference (NPUC) communication department. This position will assist with all phases of digital departmental communication, with an emphasis in digital media production.

Specifics

Position will begin September 2017. Salary will start in the low to mid $40k range. Primary workplace is at the NPUC office in Ridgefield, WA, just a few miles north of Portland, OR.

Eligibility

Recent graduate with a four-year college degree in a communication-related field desired. Two character references and two work-related references required.

Recommended Experience

Digital media production, including: video, audio, online content creation.

General Tasks

While not exhaustive, these are some general tasks of this communication internship.

  • Create Videos & Visual Branding

    Create video series segments and continunity for online content. Create visual branding for online digital media products.

  • Assist Digital Media Production

    Assist with conceptualization and production of ongoing digital media storytelling. Assist with curating external digital media content online, including audio podcasts. Assist with video and photo story gathering as needed.

  • Participate in Department Communication Process

    Participate in training events as scheduled. Learn and assist with a full range of duties within the department communication process, working closely with all members of the NPUC communication team. Perform other tasks and projects as assigned.
